Place a test order before you go live

A test order is the quickest way to check your menu, prices and delivery fee the way a customer sees them, and to hear the new-order alert on your board.

How to place one

  1. Open Setup → Place a test order, or open your store link on your phone while you're logged in.
  2. Add a few dishes, pick sizes, and go to checkout.
  3. Place the order. It's marked Test and paid by cash on delivery.

The order appears on the orders board with a sound alert. Accept it, set a preparation time and move it through the statuses, so you and your staff know the flow before a real customer orders.

What a test order does not do

  • It sends no WhatsApp or SMS to anyone and uses no message credits.
  • It is not counted in your reports or your customer list.
  • It's never sent to a driver unless you assign one yourself.

Check these while you're there

  • Do the prices match your printed menu, size by size?
  • Is the delivery fee right for an address near you and one farther away?
  • Does the store show the right hours and your logo?

Test orders can only be placed while the store is in preview. Once you're live, place a real order from the store instead.
